Hello and Welcome!
My name is Pe Thao, and I am an English-speaking Hmong guide. I’m excited to share unforgettable adventures with you in the stunning mountains and terraced rice fields surrounding Sapa.
Having spent my life getting to know and love this breathtaking landscape, I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with you. In addition to guiding you safely through this dramatic terrain, I will also introduce you to my culture and way of life. I have extensive knowledge of the land and the diverse life it supports.
During my treks, you will visit small villages and enjoy delicious local food. I also offer a personal and intimate experience, as I can share my family life with you. If you’d like to stay longer, my family would be happy to host you in our comfortable homestay.
I offer both one-day and two-day treks starting in Sapa Town, where I will meet you at your hotel or the bus stop at 9 a.m. These treks are suitable for individuals or small groups, and I am happy to tailor the experience to match your abilities and interests.

All of my treks offer not only stunning views of the mountains, terraced rice fields, and small villages, but also a rich, immersive cultural experience. These treks are far from typical tourist routes; instead, they provide a unique and authentic experience, allowing you to connect with local people and their way of life. I will be delighted to share with you my culture, my knowledge of local customs, and insights into the way of life here, as well as my understanding of the landscape and the diverse life it supports.

Trek 1 A one-day trek
Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai and Ta Van village Trek

We will begin our trek in Sapa, meeting at your hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 am From there, we’ll start our walk down the valley, enjoying breathtaking views as we follow local trails that wind through the mountains and pass lush rice fields, making our way to Y Linh Ho village. After exploring Y Linh Ho, we will continue to Lao Chai village, where we’ll relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, eating some traditional local dishes.
After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Ta Van, a unique village home to the Giay minority people, who speak their own dialect. From Ta Van, you’ll take a taxi or motorcycle back to your hotel.
Throughout the trek, I’ll be happy to chat with you, answer any questions you have about the culture and daily life in the valley and villages, and share my knowledge of the local plants and landscape.

You can expect to be trekking for around 5-6 hours.
Trek 2 A one-day trek
Sapa – Dragon Mountain – Muong Hoa Valley – Giang Chai Village Trek

We will begin our trek in Sapa, meeting at your hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. From there, we’ll walk up the dragon mountain for about an hour to reach the summit, which stands around 1,800 meters high. At the top, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Sapa valley. After taking in the scenery, we’ll descend to Hang Da village, where we’ll stop for lunch and some relaxation.
Following lunch, we’ll continue our trek to Ta Van village, walking through rice fields and bamboo forests along the way. From Ta Van, you’ll take a taxi back to your hotel in Sapa Town.
Throughout the trek, I’ll be happy to chat with you and answer any questions about the culture and daily life in the valley and villages. I’ll also share my knowledge of the local plants and landscape.
You can expect to be trekking for around 5-6 hours.
Two-day trek including one night in our family homestay

Day 1: Sapa – Dragon Mountain -Hang Da Village – Y Linh Ho
This trek is an amazing 2-day adventure, including one night in my family’s homestay. My treks not only offer stunning views of mountains, terraced rice fields, and small villages, but also provide a deeply immersive cultural experience. I will be delighted to share my culture, my knowledge of local customs and daily life, as well as my understanding of the landscape and its natural wonders. Staying with my family in our cozy and comfortable homestay will offer you an intimate, enriching experience along with breathtaking views of the valley. My family will be so happy to meet you, serve you delicious food, and host you during your stay!
We will begin our journey in Sapa, meeting at your hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. From there, we’ll trek to the top of Dragon Mountain, where you’ll be treated to incredible panoramic views of the Sapa valley. Afterward, we’ll descend to Hang Da village, where we’ll stop for lunch and some relaxation. Following lunch, we’ll continue our trek to Y Linh Ho village, walking through rice fields and bamboo forests along the way. This is where my family lives, and we will be thrilled to welcome you to our authentic family homestay, offering food, a comfortable room, and warm hospitality.

Day 2: Y Linh Ho – Waterfall – Lao Chai village
After breakfast, we will take a walk to a beautiful waterfall in Y Linh Ho village, where you can swim in the cool, refreshing water. After this relaxing moment, we’ll continue our trek, immersing ourselves in the stunning nature and observing the unique mountain rice farming methods of the Hmong people, who have created the iconic rice terraces in this mountainous region.
Next, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can eat delicious traditional food. In the afternoon, we’ll trek down to Lao Chai village, where we’ll conclude our two-day adventure.
From there, a taxi or motorcycle will pick you up and take you back to Sapa, either to your homestay or hotel.
Hiking Fansipan

Hiking Fansipan
Its the highest mountain of Vietnam!

- Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam reaching 3,143 meters (10,312 feet) above sea level
- One-day hike: where you will trek up and down on foot in one day
- Two-day hike that includes an overnight stay at an established base camp on the mountain
One-day hike to Fansipan

We will hike up and down Fansipan in one day. The adventure begins early in the morning, with a pick-up from your hotel or homestay in Sapa between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. From there, we’ll take a taxi to Tram Tom Pass and begin our hike, which will take around 5 to 6 hours. Once we reach the summit and take in the magnificent views, we’ll trek back down, which will take about 4 to 5 hours. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch and take short breaks to rest. The total hike covers approximately 22 kilometers, from Tram Tom and back.
Two-day hike to Fansipan

We will hike up and down Fansipan over two days, with an overnight stay at an established base camp on the mountain.
On day 1, our adventure begins early in the morning, with a pick-up from your hotel or homestay in Sapa between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. From there, we’ll take a taxi to Tram Tom Pass and begin our hike up to the base camp at 2,800 meters, which will take around 4 to 5 hours. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch along the way.
On Day 2, we start very early, around 3:00 or 4:00 a.m for the sunrise. The hike to the summit is about 3 kilometers and usually takes around 2.5 hours. We’ll reach the top in time to catch the sunrise, around 5:30 to 6:00 a.m. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll descend the same route and aim to reach Tram Tom by 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. There, a taxi will take you back to Sapa, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or homestay.
Motorbike Tour

Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – O Quy Ho – Ta Phin – Hang Da – Ta Van – Lao Chai – Sapa

Sapa is a fantastic area for exploring by motorbike, especially around the rice fields of Sapa Valley. Being on a motorbike allows you to experience much more of the stunning mountain scenery and visit small villages that would be hard to reach on foot!
We will pick you up at your hotel around 9:00 a.m. in Sapa, and we’ll provide you with a helmet for your safety.
This trip is designed for one or two people, and you’ll ride on the back of our bikes, allowing us to safely guide you through the mountains and farming communities.
Along the way, we’ll stop at many incredible spots, where we’ll chat about the local culture and the landscape. You’ll be amazed by the diverse, breathtaking views and the charming villages we pass through.
We’ll also take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy some delicious traditional food before continuing our adventure.

This is an all-day trip, starting from your hotel or homestay, and we will return you to your accommodation at the end of our adventure.
