Day 1: Ha Giang  – Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Pass – Sa phim – Dong van 

Ha Giang – Bac sung – Heaven Gate

We will pick you up around 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. from your homestay or hotel. Our journey will begin in Ha Giang City, heading towards Bác Sum Pass, one of the four most beautiful and challenging passes in the region. As we conquer this pass, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the green karst mountains and the clear blue sky.

Next, we will visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate, located 1,500 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Quan Ba town, the stunning landscape below, and the famous Twin Mountains.

The Twin Mountains, also known as Co Tien Mountain (Fairy Mountain), are a symbol of beauty and uniqueness in Ha Giang. Shaped like the breasts of a fairy, these mountains change their appearance with the seasons, as if the fairy is changing clothes, showcasing their charm year-round.

Quan Ba – Yen Minh: 50 km  

During the ride, we will take breaks to admire the stunning views of the rice paddies and other magnificent sights along the way. We would also stop for lunch on the route between Quan Ba and Yên Minh.

Yen Minh – Tham Ma Pass: 10 km 

The renowned Tham Ma Pass, the most challenging pass in Ha Giang, will give you an adrenaline rush and some hair-raising moments as you navigate the steep cliffs on one side and the deep abyss on the other. After conquering the pass, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the local cornfields, leaving you with a sense of complete satisfaction.

Tham Ma Pass – Sa phim: 28km  

In contrast to the magnificence of Lao Xa, the town of Sa Phin stands out with its rugged, raw beauty. The town is marked by the sight of karst stones scattered across the vibrant green meadow.

After visiting the Moon Rock Field, we will head to the King’s House of the H’mong people. From there, we will continue our journey to Dong Van town, where we’ll stay overnight at a homestay with a local H’mong family. On Sundays, many locals gather at the Dong Van market to buy and sell a wide range of goods, and we’ll have the opportunity to visit this colorful and lively market.

Day 2:   Dong Van  – Ma Pi Leng pass – Meo Vac – Mau Due – Ngoc Long – Du Gia – 100 km 

Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most famous and greatest passes in Vietnam, will leave a lasting impression on anyone who lays eyes on it. Located at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,400 meters, this pass offers an exhilarating experience as you ride along rugged cliffs, with breathtaking views of the Nho Que River far below. In addition to the stunning natural beauty, Ma Pi Leng passs is also known for its dramatic landscapes.

During our visit to Ma Pi Leng, we will take a one-hour walk passing along the Death Mountain Cliff and the White Cliff, where we can enjoy panoramic views, including a glimpse of the China border. Along the route, we’ll also have the chance to admire the local lifestyle and scenery up close.

Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac -Mau Due:  35 km

On the way to Mau De, we will enjoy the breathtaking views of the spectacular karst mountains and the fascinating landscape. Upon arrival in Mau De, we will have lunch there.

Mau Due –  Ngoc long: 20 km

After lunch, we will ride to the Ngoc Long River, where we will take a raft ride for around an hour to explore a cave. Following that, we will continue our journey through the mountain mist, heading towards Du Gia Village. Upon arrival, we will check into a homestay before heading to a nearby waterfall for a swim in the natural river pool. We will spend some time enjoying the refreshing swim before returning to the homestay.

Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thai An – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang 

Du Gia – Duong Thuong: 15 km

On the last day, we will begin our journey back to Ha Giang City. Along the way, we will pass through Duong Thuong Valley, where you can stop to enjoy the scenic views, interact with local children, and take in the breathtaking surroundings.

Duong Thuong – Thai An: 10 km

On the way along the Duong Thuong route, we will ride through the forest, enjoying the sunlit mist and the beautiful clouds over the valley. We will then stop for lunch in Thai An, where we’ll spend an hour relaxing and enjoying the meal.

Thai An – Ha Giang city: 45km 

After lunch, we will continue our journey back, still stopping to admire the breathtaking beauty of the vast mountains. As we look to the side of the abyss, we’ll be captivated by the sight of the mountains bathed in sunlight and the deep river beside them.

We’ll then visit the Sixth Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim. After enjoying the waterfall, we will head back to Ha Giang City, arriving at your hotel around 4 or 5 p.m. Once there, you can enjoy a shower and relax in your homestay or hotel room while waiting for the bus.
